Bally Road Runner Electro Mechanical Racer

4 09 2013

Well, you don’t see one of these babies very day… In fact, the one and only time I saw one of these was in a train station in Ottawa, Ontario thirty-seven years ago. And then again on August 27, 2013 when we visited the awesome Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. This is a neat take on racing and Interestingly, the car that you control is projected on a piece of glass in a kind of ghostly manner, and when you crash, which I did continuously, that ghost car is seen tumbling. Unfortunately that did not show up in this video.

My Visit To The Pinball Hall of Fame

29 08 2013

We (my fabulous wife and I), visited the amazing Pinball Hall of Fame while on vacation in Las Vegas. This was an amazing experience and definitely suggest you stop there in in Vegas.

The first video is taken by my resting my phone against my belly to improvise a sort of belly height first person view of the pinball table, Pinbot. I apologize in advance for the stupid balls joke part way though that video. The second video is me walking through the hall trying to give you an ideas as to just how many machines are in here. Take note that I missed an entire row of the oldest machines (sorry – I suck).

Then we have a link to a huge gallery of pictures and some more videos I took at the Hall of fame. The thumbnails are just a tiny portion of the pictures – click on any one to get to the entire gallery.

Classic Arcade Pinball Plug and Play

22 05 2013

Hey people of Earth, hope all is well.

Today I would like to share a quick video of me giving you a tour of the “Classic Arcade Pinball” plug and play game system. It has three tables, runs on four AA batteries and is loads of fun, if cheezy. The unit itself is styled after the 50’s and seems to be 16 bit. Check out my video below!

Space Fortress On the Bally Astrocade

13 05 2013

Just me playing the great arcade game port of Space Fortress on the Bally Astrocade. The original arcade game was called Space Zap, something I couldn’t remember when I was recording the video.

Check out my video below:

To get a better idea how good this console was, check out the original arcade game in this video I found on Youtube:

Master Everdrive Flash Cart for The Sega Master System

12 05 2013

Just posted a quick video demonstrating the Master Everdrive flash cart for the Sega Master System. The cartridge came as just a board and I had to cannibalize a case from an American Baseball game I had laying around. I had to cut a slot out of the case for the SD card to fit.
