snowballmic Well, this sure has taken a lot longer than expected!

Episode 2 of the Yesterdaze Arcade Podcast is nearing completion. I have four segments completed and am waiting for a couple of submissions from two friends.

Other Podcast news: I purchased a Snowball microphone (by Blue), which seems to be perfect for my podcasting needs. So far I am very happy with the sound quality!

So, it won’t be long now… Honest!!!

Here is an interesting article on the complete history of Nintendo.

Spanning 119 years, it is quite comprehensive. I haven’t researched this myself so I cannot comment on the accuracy, but it is an interesting read none the less.

Origins of video games. At just under five minutes, this is quite informative. I must note that they should have mentioned Ralph Baer, the true father of the video game console. Also: Donkey Kong wasn’t Nintendo’s first arcade game. They released Radar Scope in November, 1980 while Donkey Kond was released in 1981.
