Well, I went ahead and flew the Focke-Wulf today (Thursday December 14th, 2006)… and it was a complete success! I did have an initial dip after take off and I just about lost her, but I pulled her up just in time.
She flew beautifully. A lot faster than my Sky Fly and waaaaaay more maneuverable. I flew her for about six minutes and brought her in for a (reasonably) soft landing. Not wanting to push my luck too much, I ran her battery out with her in the grass while I flew my Sky Fly for a bit.
All in all, this was a great flying day.
