Great early commercial for the Intellivision game console and computer addon. It was actually a few years later that they actually get a computer addon on the market. In fact Mattel took so long to release the promised that they were hit with a class action suit by disgruntled customers that had purchased Intellivisions with the plan to use them with the "soon to be released" computer addon. What they did finally release looked nothing like the prototype seen in the commercial. It was an underpowered joke, but it was enough tofufill their legal obligation to their customers.

Episode 2 of the Podcast is Plodding along
8 09 2008
Well, this sure has taken a lot longer than expected!
Episode 2 of the Yesterdaze Arcade Podcast is nearing completion. I have four segments completed and am waiting for a couple of submissions from two friends.
Other Podcast news: I purchased a Snowball microphone (by Blue), which seems to be perfect for my podcasting needs. So far I am very happy with the sound quality!
So, it won’t be long now… Honest!!!

The History of Nintendo
8 09 2008Here is an interesting article on the complete history of Nintendo.
Spanning 119 years, it is quite comprehensive. I haven’t researched this myself so I cannot comment on the accuracy, but it is an interesting read none the less.
